Santa is giving away $1000 Cash to one lucky Rock Falls Christmas Walk attendee (18 and older).
FREE tickets will be given away at select businesses during the Christmas Walk. Visit the Community State Bank booth near Santa, the Rock Falls Chamber booth next to the free christmas card photo opt, Wickert Insurance booth inside Blackhawk Hills, or select Magic Moment locations from 5-7pm for FREE tickets. LOVE LIGHT CEREMONY
FRIDAY 11/18 6pm - 201 E 2nd St
The RB&W Park Amphitheater
Memorial lights are displayed on the Love Light Tree in Uptown Rock Falls every year to REMEMBER LOVED ONES LOST as a part of Hometown Holidays in Rock Falls.
YOUR LOVED ONE’S NAME REMEMBERED
- Read during the Love Light Ceremony 11/18 at 6 pm.
NEW LOCATION: The reading will be at the new community tree. Located at RB&W Park Amphitheater. (201 E 2nd St RF)
NEW THIS YEAR- Rock Falls Tourism celebrates the holidays with a new Christmas tree & display in the RB&W Park Amphitheater.
BACK AGAIN:
- Listing in the Daily Gazette Newspaper 11/24
- Video posting of ceremony to Facebook after the event.
REGISTRATION DETAILS
- Registration includes reading at the ceremony (if received by 11/12), inclusion in the commemorative listing (mailed to you) , reading on WIXN in December.

- Register by 11/13 for the 11/19 Ceremony
- Register by 12/11 for the commemorative listing & radio reading
- $5 in person, $6 online
MEMORIAL CANDLES
-8 inch, memorial candles are available for you to light at home through the holiday season and years to come in remembrance of your loved one. Candles are $6 and can be purchased at the Rock Falls Library OR follow the link below through 12/11. Candle inscription: For the ones we have loved and lost along the way, we know you would be here today if you weren't so far away. You can write your loved one's name and customize your candle at home. Burn time 80 hours.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST
Gather the family for this tasteful contest. Construct and decorate your perfect gingerbread house this holiday season. Email your Gingerbread house submission to info@rockfallschamber.com

All participating children will receive a call telling them they have a special surprise at the Rock Falls Library after the event.

THE CORNER GALLERY KIDS PHOTO CONTEST
The prize will be given for the photo that best depicts what Hometown Holidays mean. The pictures should be brought to the Corner Gallery at 2522 Lincolnway, Unit E, Sterling , IL. They will be placed on display for 1 week and people can come in and vote for their favorite. The photo receiving the most votes in each category shall be declared the winner. Prizes will be awarded at a reception to be held at the end of the week.

HOLIDAY LIGHT DISPLAY AT
CENTENNIAL PARK
- A free festive drive-through light display that fills the park shelters.
- Lighted display will be open weekends through Christmas!
- Tune your radio into Regional Media 105.5 to enjoy holiday music as you visit the park.
