Tours start at $15 per vehicle and include a booklet and tour map. This admission is good for both days of the event. Admissions/Tour Booklets can be purchased from the booth from the Whiteside County Farm Bureau at Summer Cookout 7/10 & 7/11 (Jeff Bright RV Cnt (2109 Industrial Pk Dr / E. Route 30). Hours: Saturday 9am-5pm & Sunday 9am-3pm. Tours begin at the Whiteside County Farm Bureau Office - 100 E. Knox Street - Morrison, IL 61270. Throughout the Midwest, historians are lamenting the disappearance of barns. The sentimental response to the plight of dying barns goes beyond the rustic appeal of the architecture. A barn is the most easily identifiable feature of early American farms. As such it is symbolic of a way of life rapidly disappearing from the American landscape.
